Lawrence Darees

The manager


Laurence Darees is in overall charge of the property. Her principal
responsibility is to ensure that guests enjoy a carefree holiday. She is a
font of information about activities in Correns and the surrounding
villages. She can arrange anything from airport collections to hiring kayaks
or booking restaurants. She is at the Chateau each morning and is available
at all times to provide advice and assistance to tenants should they require
it.

Richard Vincent

The Chef

Richard has been a key member of the team since 1988. Richard's family is long established in Correns and he was born and brought up in the village where he is still closely involved in the family's farming activities. Having trained as a sous-chef in a famous restaurant on the Cote d'Azur, Richard once agreed to help out temporarily, when the Chateau's previous cook left and has been with us ever since. A natural cook, Richard has given the Chateau an enviable reputation for its culinery excellence. He takes care of everything in the kitchen, including organising the menus and shopping for the food and drink. He normally works for six hours a day, during which he prepares a light lunch for guests to help themselves and dinner which includes service.

Madame Gros

The "Femme de menage" is the longest standing member of the team. She lives in the village and has been working at the Chateau since 1986. She is reponsible for cleaning the house, making the beds and doing the washing; a mammoth task which she undertakes with pride and discretion. She normally works for six hours a day with Sunday as her day off.

Jean-Marc Zorich

The Guardian

The newest member of the team. He is responsible for the upkeep of the grounds, taking care of the swimming pool, tennis court, fountains and all the machinery.
