Chateau Des Aspras is the perfect family house to rent, all year round. Situated in the folds of the hills, only 1 km from the unspoilt village of Correns, 16 km north of the market town of Brignoles in Le Var, Chateau des Aspras commands uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. The chateau, shaded by mature plane trees and umbrella pines, is surrounded by its own vineyards and olive groves. With extensive terraced gardens offering a variety of places to eat out of doors, the Chateau enjoys a high reputation for the quality of its cuisine. It has gained an enviable reputation from those who appreciate inspired Provencal cooking and for its peace and tranquility. A superb heated swimming pool (13.5x5m), just out of earshot of the house, a manicured croquet lawn and astro turf tennis court, provide sportsmen with a choice of activities for those not playing boules on the terrace or in the village, golf at Barbaroux (38km.) or fishing or riding nearby. The Chateau is comfortable but not grand. A large drawing room adjoins an intimate music room or study, both leading on to a beautiful shaded terrace where meals are served in the summer months. The house is decorated throughout in Provencal style. All is of excellent quality and the bedrooms, most with their own bathrooms, on two floors, are spacious and comfortable.
